Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Every two years, restrictions are imposed on the communication legislators are allowed to send out to their constituents. Those restrictions are a good thing. They ensure that state-funded resources are not used for campaign purposes.
For the next several months, you won't be getting any legislative updates from me or seeing any new content on my legislative website. Election-year restrictions begin on May 16, 2022, and end after the November general election results are certified. The only exception would be if a special legislative session is called.
Despite these restrictions, you need to know that I'm still working hard for the people of the 13th District. During the interim — the weeks between the end of one legislative session and the start of another — I'll be busy in our community, attending various legislative events, meeting with constituents, and working for our region.
If you would like to meet with me or find out more about public policy topics that affect our district, please don't hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I'm always happy to hear from you.
13th District Legislative Report
If you click the image below, you will find my recent 13th District Legislative Session Report. You may have seen this newsletter recently in your mailbox. This informational report includes an analysis of the good and bad bills passed during the recent legislative session and my perspective on the impact of those policies on our state and region.

Thank you!
It's an honor to serve as your state representative.
Sincerely,

Alex Ybarra
